About NEO SUSHI EXPRESS
All You Can Eat Sushi
Located at 3405 Hillsborough Rd, Durham, NC 27705, NEO SUSHI EXPRESS operates as a japanese serving Durham in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as japanese restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Durham, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ3 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (919) 251-8822. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, neosushidurham.com.
Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 2,839 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded japanese & sushi in Durham.
Durham is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Durham follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I love coming to Neo Sushi. Itβs honestly one of the best spots. The employees are always very friendly and helpful whenever you need anything. Charlie was especially helpful during our visit. He checked in on us, made sure we were taken care of, and even asked if we wanted any sushi that wasnβt on the conveyor belt. He brought out some fresh pieces for us, including the Crazy Monkey roll, which was amazing. Overall, great service and great experience every time we come here.

1st time eating here and I absolutely enjoyed myself. The food, atmosphere and layout was nice. We had a party of 3 and ordered the all you can eat option. We had unlimited sushi along with Entrees and sides. I ate very well and will be going back again when I visit the area! Please go and enjoy, especially if you love sushi and hibachi.

Excellent variety and quality at this price point. FIRST!! ++10 for sanitary and hygiene measures, plated sushi and Nagiri are on the conveyor belt BEHIND a plastic enclosure for viewing, and then sliding doors at your table, so that's ππΌ ππΌ! Side dishes and entrees can be ordered from a separate screen above, at your table, ALL freshly prepared. 4-6 pieces per plate on the conveyor belt so you can (and should) sample responsibly, they do replenish promplty. Great variety so you know you'll be back. Sauces, water, sweet treats and sides in the back (pictures on the wall). Perfect for a dinner, families or even a date. Great concept, great sanitary measures, great tasty variety, go check them out !

Very convenient and at a great price for lunch. That being said, I wouldn't want to pay more than $13 for the experience. There is plenty of parking outside, and the restaurant is not hard to find. The hostess was nice, and you pay for your meal upfront so you can leave whenever you're finished. VERY self-serve here. You grab your own drink, sauce and utensils. At the table you grab sushi off the conveyor belt and order hibachi/appetizers off the mounted kiosk. The food was okay. There is not a lot of variety, and you can tell the quality isn't high-end. The hibachi is also swimming in sauce and takes a while to come out. The "cheesecake" and "tiramisu" at the bar are not worth the stomach real estate...eat something else. It'd be nice if they had fresh fruit as an option. However, this is the perfect place if you want a quick, cheap lunch and love rolls and saucy hibachi.

Immediately we got our table and for 20 dollars we got so much food. Come on weekdays for 13 though. So much good sushi. The best was the volcano roll and las Vegas roll. The sushi came in the conveyor belt which gave so much variety. The actual food was okay. The shrimp tempura and crab ragoon was amazing. The rest were mediocre. Fries were really good. They added tempura batter. Okay service. Just come for the sushi
